We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer to support daily clinical operations and deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The role involves medical consultation, preventive healthcare, quality improvement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nProvide comprehensive medical care, consultation, counselling, and interpretation of medical results.
\nMonitor patients and provide appropriate general care across inpatient, outpatient, and health programme settings.
\nConduct health education programmes, medical workshops, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
\nAssess patients and make appropriate referrals to specialist services when required.
\nCollaborate with doctors, nurses, and medical and non-medical teams to ensure efficient and quality healthcare delivery.
\nMaintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, confidentiality, and professional care.
\nSupport medication-related and other medical matters in coordination with relevant departments.
\nLead and implement Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance programmes within the department.
\nFamiliarise with and effectively use Hospital\/Clinical Information Systems (HIS\/CIS).
\nPerform scheduled on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
\nWork closely with management to identify opportunities to improve healthcare services and patient experience.<\/p>\n
Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities:
\nEnsure adequate availability of medical supplies and equipment within the department.
\nPrepare required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual clinical reports.
\nSupport recruitment and selection of medical staff when required.
\nDevelop and monitor departmental KPIs to drive performance and service excellence.
\nLead and manage Medical Officers to ensure efficient operations and adequate staffing coverage.
