Key Responsibilities
\n\u2022\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including medical histories, clinical assessments, medications, treatments, allergies, diagnostic results, and follow-up notes.
\n\u2022\tAssess patients\u2019 symptoms, evaluate their medical conditions, and determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
\n\u2022\tPrescribe medications in accordance with applicable Malaysian laws, clinical guidelines, and professional standards. Explain potential side effects, risks, and possible drug interactions to patients.
\n\u2022\tSupervise and support Medical Assistants, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and patient care standards.
\n\u2022\tMonitor patients\u2019 progress and the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments when necessary to improve health outcomes.
\n\u2022\tEducate patients on healthy lifestyle practices, including proper nutrition, physical activity, personal hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
\n\u2022\tBuild positive relationships with patients through clear communication, compassionate care, and guidance that supports informed healthcare decisions.
\n\u2022\tCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care.
\n\u2022\tMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with medical ethics, clinic policies, and relevant healthcare regulations.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications
\n\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Medicine or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.
\n\u2022\tValid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
\n\u2022\tPossess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
\n\u2022\tCompletion of compulsory medical service, as required for the position.
\n\u2022\tGood knowledge of general medicine, patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
\n\u2022\tStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2022\tAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team.
\n\u2022\tDemonstrate professionalism, compassion, responsibility, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
