Retainer MD/Physician On Duty (Davao City)

ABC Animal Bite Center is a specialized medical facility dedicated to the diagnosis and management of animal bite cases. We are committed to providing high-quality medical care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. We are currently seeking a Retainer MD/Physician On Duty to join our team.

Date: ASAP (October)

Time: Monday to Friday, 10 AM – 2 PM (negotiable)

Rate: 700/hr (Net)

Roles and Functions:

• Diagnosis and Management: Assess and manage animal bite cases, ensuring appropriate treatment and care.
• Willing to undergo training: Stay updated on the latest guidelines and best practices for animal bite management.
• Screen all animal bite cases: Conduct initial assessments of patients and manage cases accordingly.
• Thorough Physical Examination, Health History, and Treatment of Patients: Perform comprehensive physical examinations, gather health history, and provide appropriate medical care to patients.
• Categorize Animal Bite Based on DOH Guidelines: Classify animal bites according to Department of Health (DOH) guidelines to determine the level of risk and treatment needed.
• Prescribe Medications: Recommend and prescribe medications to patients as needed.
• Issue Medical Certificates for HMO Reimbursement: Prepare and provide medical certificates for patients to facilitate HMO reimbursement.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Medical Doctor (MD).
• Prior experience in emergency medicine or relevant medical field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and well-being.
