Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and high-quality healthcare to women of all ages, encompassing adolescence to menopause, including pregnancy and childbirth.
- Medical Examinations: Conduct thorough medical examinations, such as pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations, for gynecological condition screening and diagnosis.
- Prenatal and Obstetric Care: Monitor and manage prenatal care, perform deliveries, and offer postpartum care to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
- Gynecological Surgeries: Perform various gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries as required.
- Counseling: Provide patient education and counseling on women’s health issues, contraception, family planning, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Record-keeping: Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records, including patient histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest obstetrics and gynecology developments through continuous training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license.
- Strong clinical skills and a dedication to evidence-based practice.
