Nursing Assistant

ACE Medical Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Nursing Assistants to support our clinical team in delivering safe and high-quality patient care. This role plays a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, maintaining unit efficiency, and assisting nurses and physicians in daily hospital operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Respond promptly to patients’ call requests and assist with their immediate needs

Support nursing staff in providing basic patient care, including bed baths and changing of bed linens and gowns

Prepare and maintain closed, occupied, and surgical beds according to hospital standards

Assist patients with elimination needs, including handling and emptying bedpans and urinals

Safely assist patients with mobility, including repositioning in bed, transferring to wheelchairs or stretchers, and transporting to various departments as required

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within assigned patient units

Serve as liaison for discharge clearance processes and coordinate necessary documentation

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals for patient transport to diagnostic procedures such as X-ray, surgery, and laboratory tests

Collect and deliver laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently

Assist in moving medical equipment, wheelchairs, stretchers, CSR materials, and linens between departments

Immediately report unusual observations or patient concerns to the Head Nurse or Charge Nurse

Perform additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations

Job Requirements

Graduate of Nursing Assistant, Caregiving, or relevant healthcare-related course

With valid certification (if applicable)

Prior hospital or clinical experience is an advantage

Physically fit and capable of assisting in patient transfers and mobility

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient-oriented, and attentive to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment

Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays

Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
