Operating Room Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to create and maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies.
• Monitor the patient’s vital signs and assist in anesthesia administration, as needed.
• Provide accurate documentation of the surgical procedure and patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the procedure.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the operating room.
• Educate patients and their families about pre-operative and post-operative care.
