- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluid analyses, as well as tissue and cell samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.
- Adhere to established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
- Perform quality control checks to validate the accuracy and reliability of test results, and address any issues as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure proper selection of tests and appropriate interpretation of results.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all tests performed, including patient information, procedures, and outcomes.
- Keep up-to-date with advances in laboratory technology, techniques, and safety protocols through continuous education and training.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring supplies and reagents, and placing orders as required.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all laboratory interactions.
