• Adhere to established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
• Perform quality control checks to validate the accuracy and reliability of test results, and address any issues as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure proper selection of tests and appropriate interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all tests performed, including patient information, procedures, and outcomes.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in laboratory technology, techniques, and safety protocols through continuous education and training.
• Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management, including monitoring supplies and reagents, and placing orders as required.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all laboratory interactions.
