Chong Hua Hospital, one of the Philippines’ leading healthcare institutions, invites motivated and service-oriented professionals to join our Patient & Customer Relations Team as a Patient Assistance Specialist (PAS). This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care, coordination, and delivering exceptional service experiences.
Role Overview
The Patient Assistance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient journey by providing guidance, support, and coordination across various hospital services. The PAS works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs, facilitate access to care, and ensure that patients and their families receive timely and appropriate assistance throughout their hospital experience.
The successful candidate may be assigned to Admissions & Registration, Patient Assistance Services, HMO Coordination, or Information Services, depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct assistance and guidance to patients and their families across hospital services
Coordinate patient needs with clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure smooth care delivery
Assess patient concerns and facilitate access to appropriate hospital resources
Support patient admissions, inquiries, and service navigation with professionalism and empathy
Uphold hospital service standards and contribute to a positive patient experience
Qualifications
Graduate of any four-year bachelor’s degree
Background in customer service is an advantage
Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Visayan and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate in English is an advantage
Willing to work on a shifting schedule
Willing to work onsite
