Orthopedic Surgical Assistant/Nurse

Davao Doctors Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Orthopedic Surgical Assistant to support our surgical team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality orthopedic care. The ideal candidate is dedicated, knowledgeable in sterile and surgical protocols, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to operating room protocols.

Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields before, during, and after procedures.

Provide support in pre-operative preparations and post-operative patient care to ensure safe recovery and continuity of care.

Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain the highest standards of surgical safety, compliance, and patient care.

Qualifications

Certification as a Surgical Assistant or completion of equivalent accredited training program.

Prior experience in orthopedic surgery or operating room assistance is preferred.

Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, infection control, and OR protocols.

Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
