EMT Nurse

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Nurse at Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, you will be an essential member of our emergency response team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide immediate and life-saving care to patients in critical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide on-site medical assistance to patients in need.
• Assess and prioritize patient conditions, administering appropriate medical interventions.
• Administer basic and advanced life support measures by established protocols.
• Collaborate with emergency response teams, including paramedics, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Safely transport patients to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care during transfer.
• Maintain and restock emergency medical supplies and equipment on ambulances.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in emergency medical care.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff to provide essential information about incoming patients.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards during emergency response activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Previous experience in emergency medicine or pre-hospital care is preferred.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially in high-stress situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
