Job Description
As a Head Nurse at Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, you will play a crucial leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to lead a team of dedicated nurses and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of nursing units, including patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care, address concerns, and provide support to nursing staff.
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through training programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with other department heads to promote interdisciplinary communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration, conveying concerns, suggestions, and updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
- Registered Nurse with a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Proven leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
