Nurse Supervisor

ob Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Manager to oversee the operational processes in various nursing units, including General Nursing, Specialized Nursing, and Surgical Nursing Services. The role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with clinical and support teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure staff adherence to quality and safety policies, revising as needed
Manage safety incidents by implementing corrective/preventive measures
Monitor compliance of Head Nurses/Charge Nurses in reporting and documenting safety incidents
Ensure appropriate staff competency and skill mix in nursing units
Collaborate with Assistant Chiefs or Shift Managers on staffing levels, schedules, and assignments
Participate in workforce analysis and manpower requirements
Educational Requirements:

Registered Nurse with at least 9 units in management and administration courses at the graduate level
At least 4 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in Nursing Administration
Skills and Training:

Member in good standing of the accredited professional organization of nurses
Basic leadership or management training required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Technical certifications such as Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, IV Therapy, or Preceptor Certificate
Inter-Relationships:

Collaborates with Nurse Managers, Operations group, Finance, and Medical Affairs on patient care and operational concerns
Working Conditions:

Office environment, with duties involving conceptual analysis and complex problem-solving
May be required to work rotating shifts and cover duties of Shift Manager or Training Officer in their absence
