Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assess and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments by physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and ensure patient safety, addressing any potential risks or concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of care plans and self-management.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
