Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during clinical consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures, ensuring efficient chairside support.

Ensure excellent patient experience by providing comfort, reassurance, and proper chair positioning.

Prepare and organize all instruments, materials, and equipment for general and surgical procedures.

Perform proper cleaning, packing, and three-step sterilization of instruments in compliance with infection control protocols.

Sterilize and prepare surgical drapes and towels.

Capture, organize, and manage clinical photographs and radiographs.

Send radiographs and clinical images to patients within 24 hours.

Perform daily maintenance and lubrication of dental handpieces.

Maintain proper organization of dental instruments and materials.

Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared before patients and thoroughly sanitized after procedures.

Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and consumables.

Coordinate with dental laboratories for case management and documentation.

Monitor equipment status and report items requiring maintenance or repair.

Take and record patients’ vital signs prior to surgery.

Ensure medical clearances and informed consent forms are complete.

Provide support during medical and dental emergencies.

Perform blood extraction for PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) procedures when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Graduate of Dental Nursing, Nursing, or any allied healthcare course.

With at least 1 year of experience as a dental nurse or dental assistant (fresh graduates are welcome to apply, if trainable).

Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control protocols.

Experience in sterilization techniques and chairside assisting is an advantage.

Willing to be trained in advanced dental and surgical procedures (including PRF).

Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills to handle patients professionally.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.

Able to maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.

Comfortable using basic computer applications for email, documentation, and image handling.

Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends if required.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
