Job Opportunity: Resident and Reliever Optometrist – George Optical, Manila

Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye exams including screening, refraction, and ocular health checks.
Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
Detect ocular conditions (e.g., myopia, dry eyes) and identify at-risk patients (e.g., macular degeneration, glaucoma).
Manage and refer patients to specialists as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry, board passer.
Preferably from a 6-year course or DPA certified.
1-2 years of related experience in an eye center/hospital or reputable optical establishment.
Clinical knowledge to deliver primary eye care.
Passionate about providing quality, holistic eye care.
Proficient with instruments such as retinoscope, ophthalmoscope, keratometer, slit lamp, Ishihara Color Vision Test, and non-contact tonometer.
Motivated, detail-oriented, team player with strong patient communication skills.
License/Certification:
PRC License (required)
