What You Will Do:
Adjust eyewear carefully and assess conditions before making changes.
Ensure the correct lens power and report discrepancies.
Cut ophthalmic lenses to the exact shape and size of the frame.
Take precise measurements such as segment, pupil, vertical, and horizontal height.
Operate manual and automatic edging machines.
Produce high-quality spectacles and finish jobs in under an hour.
Adhere to workflow compliance, including quality checks and incident reporting.
Assist in minor maintenance repairs and daily machine assessments.
Maintain overall cleanliness of the workstation and perform related tasks as designated.
Who You Are:
2-3 years of experience as an optical technician/optician, locally or internationally.
Good communication skills (oral and written).
Excellent technical skills in grooving, edging, and drilling lenses.
Ability to operate auto and manual edgers, and adjust frames accurately.
Proficient in computer applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
