What you will do:
Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests.
Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism and glaucoma.
Prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Who you are:
Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Optometry and board passer.
Preferably from 6-year course or DPA certified Optometrist, has excellent academical achievements.
1-2 years of work-related experience preferably from an eye center/hospital based or a reputable optical establishment.
Has the clinical knowledge to be able to deliver PRIMARY EYE CARE to patients.
Has the passion for providing quality and wholistic eye care
Able to operate and interpret the results of the following instruments:
1. Retinoscope
2. Ophthalmoscope
3. Keratometer
4. Possess excellent communication skills: oral and written
5. Slit lamp
6. Ishihara Color Vision Test
7. Non-Contact Tonometer
Highly motivated and can work under pressure, mature, detail oriented, team oriented, demonstrates a positive and approachable ability to understand patients. Able to develop doctor/client relationship and can maintain long lasting business relationship.
