Job Description:
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) scans
- Follows instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging
- Correctly positions the patient, adjusts the imaging equipment to the specified position
- Produces diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients’ records
- Talks the patient through the procedure and answers questions to lower their anxiety
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
- Monitors patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation to the patients and themselves
- Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Must be a Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- At least one year experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion
- Good mathematical abilities and technical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits: Promotion to permanent employee
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types: 13th month salary
