Radiologic Technologist

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist! In this role, you’ll perform crucial diagnostic imaging procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe and caring environment for our patients.

Job Description:

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) scans
• Follows instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging
• Correctly positions the patient, adjusts the imaging equipment to the specified position
• Produces diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients’ records
• Talks the patient through the procedure and answers questions to lower their anxiety
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Monitors patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation to the patients and themselves
• Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Must be a Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• At least one year experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion
• Good mathematical abilities and technical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits: Promotion to permanent employee

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types: 13th month salary
