Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and incorporate preventive eye care measures.
• Perform complex ophthalmic procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, retinal and visual treatments.
• Handle ocular emergencies with swift and empathetic response.
• Adhere to the professional ethics, rules, and regulations set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Specialty Organizations.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Promote preventive health by conducting physical examinations, administering vaccinations, and offering pharmacy products.
• Conduct routine outpatient surgical procedures.
• The role is clinic-based, eliminating the need for hospital ward rounds.
Requirements
• Should possess a completed MD degree and a recognized residency program.
• Must possess a valid and current Medical license.
• Specialization in Ophthalmology with an active board certification is required.
• Experience in outpatient procedures and preventive care is preferred.
