Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive eye consultations and examinations to address patients’ vision and eye health needs.
• Perform various ophthalmology procedures including cataract surgery, glaucoma intervention, retina and vision treatments.
• Attend promptly to patients with emergency ocular needs, delivering immediate and compassionate care.
• Practice ophthalmology in accordance with guidelines and regulations set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Specialty Organizations.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for multidisciplinary patient interventions to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care.
Requirements
• MD degree and valid licensure to practice medicine in The Philippines.
• Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist in a medical clinic or hospital.
• Proficiency with healthcare technology and updated knowledge on ophthalmology best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a dedication to patient comfort and privacy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and demonstrate good decision-making skills.
