Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye consultations and examinations to address patients’ vision and eye health needs.
• Perform various ophthalmology procedures including cataract surgery, glaucoma intervention, retina and vision treatments.
• Attend promptly to emergency ocular needs, delivering immediate and compassionate care.
• Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulations set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Specialty Organizations.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately.
• Liaise with the healthcare team for multidisciplinary patient interventions.
• Involve in preventive health promotion via physical examinations, vaccinations, and pharmacy products.
• May also partake in outpatient surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Ophthalmologist in the Philippines with specialty training.
• Good record keeping and patient management skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Committed to quality patient care and ethical medical practice.
• Well versed in the latest ophthalmology treatments and procedures.
