Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive ophthalmic care including eye examinations, preventive measures, complex ocular procedures, and outpatient surgical procedures.
• Manage ocular emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Uphold the PRC and Specialty Organizations’ ethical standards, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain patient records accurately and timely.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-specialty healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Advocate for preventive eye health through examinations and appropriate interventions.
• Offer a range of pharmacy products related to ophthalmic care.
• The role is based solely in the clinic, therefore hospital ward rounds are not required.
• Participate in professional development and continuous education activities to stay updated on the latest in Ophthalmology.
Requirements
• An MD degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Ophthalmology.
• Active board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Current and valid Medical license.
• Demonstrable experience in outpatient procedures and preventive care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
