Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive eye consultations and evaluations to assess patients’ ocular health.
• Perform complex ophthalmic procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, retinal and visual treatments.
• Handle any ocular emergencies with prompt and compassionate medical response.
• Uphold the highest level of professionalism and adhere to the rules and regulations set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Specialty Organizations.
• Maintain accurate patient records with consistent updates.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver multidisciplinary patient care.
• Engage in promoting preventive health through physical examinations, vaccinations, and pharmacy products.
• Skillfully conduct required outpatient surgical procedures.
• Work in a clinic-based setting inferring no requirement for ward rounds.
Requirements
• Must possess a completed MD degree and a recognized residency program.
• Must possess a valid and current Medical license.
• Required specialization in Ophthalmology with active board certification.
• Experience in outpatient procedures and preventive care is preferred.
