Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive eye consultations and examinations to assess patients’ vision and eye health needs.
• Carry out ophthalmic procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma intervention, retina and vision treatments.
• Quickly attend to emergency ocular needs, providing immediate and compassionate care.
• Adhere to standards and regulations as outlined by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Specialty Organizations.
• Keep and update patient records accurately.
• Work closely with the healthcare team for multidisciplinary patient interventions.
• Participate in preventive health promotion through physical examinations, vaccinations, and pharmacy products.
• Engage in outpatient surgical procedures as needed.
Requirements
• Completed MD degree and a recognized residency program.
• Valid and current Medical license.
• Specialization in Ophthalmology with active board certification.
• Experience in outpatient procedures and preventive care will be an advantage.
