Kaiser Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and service-oriented Patient Care Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in delivering exceptional patient experiences by providing front-line support and assisting in the efficient operation of our medical facility. You will be the first point of contact for patients, playing a critical role in ensuring their comfort, care, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and guide patients with professionalism and warmth upon arrival
Assist with patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes
Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy and efficiency
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation
Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and administrative staff to streamline patient care
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for medical staff
Support administrative operations including inventory management and office supplies
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry
Highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Upholds integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing role is an advantage
High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in healthcare services is a plus
