Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our team and lead our laboratory operations to new heights. As a Laboratory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our laboratory department. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, managing a team of skilled professionals, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including medical technologists and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage the laboratory budget effectively.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory technology and best practices.
• Handle and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Preferably with a Master’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Laboratory Manager or in a similar role.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and procedures.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
