Job Description
The Echo Technologist plays a key role in supporting cardiologists through the accurate performance of a wide range of cardiac ultrasound procedures. This includes standard Echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients, as well as advanced diagnostic tests such as Treadmill Stress Echocardiogram and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram.
The technologist also assists the Cardiologist-on-duty during specialized procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Intraoperative TEE, 3D Echocardiography, and Fetal Echocardiogram, ensuring precise imaging acquisition and patient safety throughout each procedure. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and proofreading preliminary test results prior to official release, maintaining high standards of accuracy and diagnostic quality.
Qualifications:
Graduate of any allied health or healthcare-related course.
Fresh graduates and underboard candidates are welcome to apply; no prior experience is required.
Willingness to undergo hands-on training in echocardiographic techniques and cardiac diagnostics.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in clinical team environments.
