Medical Technologist

Marcelo Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and blood banking, with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results, adhering to quality standards.
• Prepare and analyze samples, record findings, and maintain comprehensive and accurate records of test results for effective patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate test results, facilitating the timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment for all staff and patients.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing processes.
• Stay updated with advancements in medical technology and participate in continuing education to enhance and maintain proficiency in the field.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Valid certification as a Medical Technologist.
• Proven experience in performing laboratory tests across various disciplines.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to produce accurate and reliable test results.
