2D Echo Technician

Are you a skilled and compassionate 2D Echo Technician with a passion for exceptional patient care? Maxicare Health Services Inc. is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a 2D Echo Technician.

Job Description:

• Set up examination rooms with the necessary equipment for echocardiogram procedures.
• Obtain detailed and accurate patient medical histories to aid in diagnosis.
• Explain echocardiogram procedures to patients, addressing their queries and providing support.
• Perform imaging and non-imaging evaluations, including echocardiography, and ensure proper patient positioning with support devices.
• Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation by physicians.
• Monitor patients during procedures and promptly report any changes or emergencies to clinical staff and the attending physician.

Qualifications: I. Education, License & Certification:

• Graduate of any 4-year medical allied course; preferably with a valid PRC license.
• Updated training certificate in 2D Echo.

II. Work Experience:

• Preferably with 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer / 2D Echo Tech.

III. Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong foundation in echocardiography.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
