Role Overview
The Internal Medicine Specialist will play a key role in overseeing MedGrocer’s clinical adjudication process, ensuring sound medical decisions for HMO coverage determinations. This pivotal position contributes directly to our mission of accessible, high-quality healthcare and provides a defined pathway toward leadership, including the opportunity to build and mentor a team of specialists.
We seek a professional who combines strong clinical acumen with operational insight to drive excellence and innovation within our health tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the principal authority on complex medical cases, performing utilization reviews to assess HMO coverage eligibility.
Evaluate operational reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend process enhancements.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless healthcare services and address clinical adjudication inquiries.
Develop and refine clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in medical decision-making.
Champion operational excellence and leadership development by coaching and managing a growing team of specialists.
Qualifications
Licensed Physician with an active PRC license.
Completed residency training in Internal Medicine; board certification required.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Willingness to work onsite in Makati City.
