Job Description
Optum is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Internal Medicine Doctor (Internal Medicine Diplomate) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing medical and clinical operations while delivering exceptional healthcare services to our members. This position involves both clinical expertise and operational leadership, ensuring that all functions align with Optum’s mission to make the healthcare system work better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership, oversight, and direction across multiple clinical and operational functions.
Manage and support senior medical and professional teams, ensuring excellence in service delivery and patient care.
Conduct end-to-end assessments and care coordination for members, focusing on bio-psychosocial, functional, and behavioral health needs.
Review member service records, utilization history, and care plans to create holistic assessments and recommendations.
Engage members through teleconsultations and health discussions, applying effective interviewing and active listening skills.
Develop and implement market-level strategies and operational plans that drive quality outcomes and efficiency.
Identify and resolve clinical, technical, and organizational challenges that may impact functional or customer outcomes.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Diplomate in Internal Medicine.
Active and valid medical license.
Willing to work onsite in Makati City or Muntinlupa City under a hybrid work arrangement.
Open to night shift schedules.
