Medical Technologist

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex tests on blood and body fluids to determine the cause of disease
• Participate in all technical and administrative matters involving the laboratory and perform routine laboratory works
• Handle inventory of laboratory reagents and supplies in the absence of Senior Medical Technologist
• Perform microbiological analyses to process patient specimens and produce accurate results
• Monitor and requisition reagents, apparatus, and office supplies for the Laboratory
• Receive requests and accurately charge accounts accordingly and release results for inpatients and outpatients in the absence of the Laboratory Clerk

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology
• Medical Technologist License (Required)
• Experience or internship in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred

Shift/Timings

8-hour shift on a shift system
