Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound and x-ray examinations, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, addressing any questions or concerns and providing clear instructions.
• Properly position patients for imaging, optimizing image quality and facilitating accurate diagnosis.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and x-ray machines, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Review and assess imaging results, ensuring high-quality images and accurate interpretations for radiologists and physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including radiologists, physicians, and other professionals, to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting procedures, imaging findings, and relevant patient information.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, creating a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in radiologic technology through participation in continuing education programs and workshops.
• Provide guidance and support to students and trainees in radiologic technology as needed.
