Pharmacist

As a Pharmacist at Metro Davao Medical and Research Center Inc., you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide patient counseling as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust medication therapy plans.
• Perform medication reviews and provide recommendations to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock of pharmaceuticals.
• Oversee the compounding and preparation of specialized medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on medication use and potential side effects.
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid license as a Pharmacist in the Philippines.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Pharmacist is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and dosage regimens.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient safety and medication management.
