Hemodialysis Nurse
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Dialysis Nurse Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments and record patients’ vital signs before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Administer hemodialysis treatment accurately and ensure patients’ comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients closely throughout dialysis sessions to identify any adverse reactions or complications.
- Develop and update nursing care plans based on individual patient needs.
- Promptly communicate any issues or concerns that arise during dialysis treatments to the appropriate medical professionals.
- Collaborate with dialysis technicians to ensure proper setup and functioning of dialysis machines and equipment.
Dialysis Nurse Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Possess a valid state license to practice nursing.
- Demonstrate proven experience working as a dialysis nurse.
- Maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
- Proficiently operate dialysis machines.
- Remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Display a patient-centered and compassionate approach.
