• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.
• Calibrate and validate laboratory instruments to guarantee precise and dependable test results.
• Follow established protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines for each test, ensuring compliance.
• Accurately record and interpret test results, promptly reporting findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory tests and procedures.
• Conduct quality control checks and actively participate in proficiency testing to uphold the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring proper storage and appropriate disposal of hazardous materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
