Physician

Location: Trece Martirez, Cavite

SAIL Clinic Cavite is seeking a Physician to provide quality assistance for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of HIV and related conditions for clinic clients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, referral and follow-up of patients, and to provide quality of care and treatment for patients with HIV: from diagnostics, to linkage, treatment, and retention in care at the SAIL Clinics and partner clinics and the community.
• Ensure that all patients are treated in accordance with standards, protocols, and algorithms available for HIV and related STIs.
• Fill in patient files, collect and analyze medical data, and participate in medical reporting.
• Contribute to program quality according to SHIP’s standards, including health and safety procedures, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Abide by SHIP and SAIL Clinic policies, rules, and regulations, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform other assigned functions as directed by Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed MD.
• Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinic setting.
• Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to manage patients’ health issues.
• Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues to ensure positive, effective care.
• Open-minded, passionate, and mission-driven in working with PLHIV (People Living with HIV) and key populations.
• Resident of Trece Martires, Cavite (for SAIL Cavite); or a resident of nearby areas, and willing to travel/commute to the respective site.
