Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for collecting and preparing blood, urine, and tissue samples for analysis.
• Examine collected samples and identify any cell abnormalities.
• Maintain laboratory inventory levels and place orders for new supplies, if necessary.
• Prepare and document detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other medical specialists to ascertain correct diagnosis if cell abnormalities are discovered.
• Present test findings to physicians, researchers, or patients.
• Responsible for all laboratory result signing and release of her duty.
• Record all laboratory tests conducted during the shift.
• Perform quality control graph for blood chemistry.
• Request all laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
• Responsible for equipment maintenance and keeping preventive maintenance records.
• Attend professional development seminars and conventions.
Requirements
• Must be a Licensed Medical Technologist.
• Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical skills in laboratory science.
• Excellent physical and stamina to perform extensive laboratory tests.
• Exceptional analytical and detailed oriented skills.
• Profound ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Willing to relocate to Santo Tomas, Batangas before starting work.
Shift/Timings
8-hour shift schedule including day shifts and weekends.
