If so, we invite you to join our family at Saint Dominic Dialysis Center, Inc. as a Physician on Duty (POD).
Responsibilities:
Attend to the medical needs of patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Oversee the dialysis procedure and ensure it is carried out safely and efficiently.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust treatment as necessary.
Handle medical emergencies and provide prompt and appropriate medical interventions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients.
Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
Qualifications:
General Practitioner or Internal Medicine duly licensed.
Possess a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Professional Tax Receipt (PTR).
Completed an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Hold training certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Provide a Certificate of Employment from the previous employer, indicating a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience.
Have a minimum of 3 months of experience in the care of patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
Current member of RENAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
Certified with an IV therapy certificate to administer intravenous medications and fluids.
