Job Description:

• Interpret and evaluate laboratory test results, providing accurate and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests.
• Utilize laboratory information systems and relevant computer applications for data entry and retrieval.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all laboratory procedures and documentation.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment, working both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and laboratory practices through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a certified Medical Technologist program.
• Valid and current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from a recognized certifying agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT, NCA).
• Proficiency in conducting laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Strong analytical skills to accurately analyze and interpret laboratory test results.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for interactions with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and relevant computer applications.
