DENTIST

As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, including preventive procedures, diagnosing dental problems, and performing various treatments and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to discuss and address their dental concerns, perform routine cleanings, and develop plans for better dental hygiene.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including extractions, root canals, filling cavities, and repairing damaged teeth.
• Correct bite issues and overcrowding through the use of orthodontic treatments such as braces or aligners.
• Apply helpful agents such as sealants to protect teeth from decay or whiteners to improve the appearance of teeth.
• Prescribe medications to manage dental pain, reduce inflammation, or treat infections.
• Administer sedatives or anesthesia to help patients feel more comfortable during procedures.
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, and other imaging tests to evaluate the condition of a patient’s teeth and mouth.
• Use a variety of tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including diagnoses, treatments, and medications prescribed.
• Work with other staff members, such as dental assistants and hygienists, to provide comprehensive dental care to patients.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, to coordinate care for patients with complex medical needs.

Qualifications:

• A degree in dentistry from an accredited institution
• A valid license to practice dentistry in the state where you will be working
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of current dental practices and procedures
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
