PSYCHOMETRICIAN

We are currently seeking a skilled Psychometrist to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering and scoring psychological tests according to their level of competency, as defined in their job description
• Scoring tests administered, including objective personality tests administered by Psychologists, and providing interpretations of test results as appropriate
• Providing a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing, including observations of their interactions with parents or peers that are incidentally observed during the testing process
• Writing progress notes in the patient’s medical record to keep hospital personnel informed of the status of referrals and other important information related to the patient’s care
• Attending training conferences offered by their department as well as by outside organizations to maintain and improve their skills and knowledge
• Participating in establishing job requirements and goals and performing their duties at the desired level of competency
• Reviewing and ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, availability, and security of information related to their work
• Complying with infection control and health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Understanding, adhering to, and modeling core standards as defined organizationally and specifically within their department or unit
• Performing other duties as assigned to support their department or organization.
