Job Description
Join our team as a Medical Documentation Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to Covid-19 patients, conducting consultations, and ensuring accurate and error-free medical documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing medical care to patients with Covid-19, ensuring their well-being and recovery.
- Conducting phone and video consultations, and addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Managing video calls, verifying patient information, and ensuring accuracy.
- Maintaining error-free and up-to-date medical documentation, duly signed by attending physicians.
- Adding clinical data, lab reports, and physician interpretations to medical records, ensuring accuracy.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of patient tracking systems.
- Editing medical documents to eliminate errors and ensure quality.
- Adhering to ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements for medical document preparation.
Requirements:
- Preferably an MD (fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Compliance with HIPAA confidentiality standards.
- In-depth understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in medical record software and hardware.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accurate and fast typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and reporting abilities.
- Foreign medical graduates are welcome to apply.
- USMLE Steps 1 and 2 cleared.
- ECFMG certified.
Work Hours:
- Part-time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM CST.
Rate:
- $10 per hour.
