Medical Center Paranque is seeking for nurse who will be responsible for assisting and helping treat patients with various illnesses, injuries, or disabilities as they work with the other healthcare professionals in the organization.<\/p>\n
Their duties would include taking and monitoring patients\u2019 vital signs with the use of the recommended medical equipment and with proper communication with physicians, surgeons, and other nurses administering oral and parenteral medications providing relief and alleviating the symptoms, and promoting the well-being of patients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\u2022 Observe and record the patient\u2019s behavior and attitude
\n\u2022 Elicit and record the patient\u2019s chief complaint and clinical history
\n\u2022 Take and monitor patients\u2019 vital signs with the use of the recommended medical equipment and record them accurately
\n\u2022 Perform physical examinations when applicable
\n\u2022 Administer oral and parenteral medications as ordered by the attending physicians and surgeons with accurate charting of the type, route and time of administration
\n\u2022 Assist surgeons and other physicians and specialists during minor and major operations
\n\u2022 Observe and interpret patient\u2019s symptoms and complaints and communicate the same to the attending physicians and surgeons
\n\u2022 Counsel and educate patients and their families and friends on the diagnostic and treatment plans with consent and collaboration with the attending physicians and surgeons
\n\u2022 Foster a supportive and compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients and their family and friends
\n\u2022 Inspect the clinic facilities and act to maintain a hygienic and safe environment (decontaminating medical equipment, sanitizing clinic working surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
\n\u2022 Provide immediate medical care in case of emergencies
\n\u2022 Acquire additional knowledge and skills by attending lectures, educational workshops and related conferences<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:
\n\u2022 Registered nurse (RN)
\n\u2022 Valid Philippine license to practice nursing
\n\u2022 At least two (2) years\u2019 experience as a nurse working in a hospital or clinic<\/p>\n
