Job Summary:
\nAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process and maintaining nursing practice standards. You will manage records, supplies, and equipment, provide health education to patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and patient outcomes. Continuous quality improvement and safe nursing practices are at the core of your role.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Efficiently admit patients using the nursing process and customer service standards
\nObtain comprehensive data from patient health history and physical exams using proper assessment techniques and diagnostic tools
\nDevelop and implement nursing care plans based on identified nursing problems
\nExecute safe and timely nursing interventions in line with hospital standards and patient rights
\nProvide care for vulnerable groups, identifying changes in patient conditions and adjusting care plans as needed
\nEnsure safe transport of patients between units
\nPractice effective infection control and handle hazardous materials responsibly
\nAdminister regular and high-alert medications safely and monitor IV therapy, blood transfusions, and parenteral medications
\nRespond to emergencies and ensure proper use of safety devices, such as restraints and call lights
\nMaintain equipment, update patient records, and monitor emergency supplies
\nProvide health education to patients and families and assist with quality improvement activities
\nSupervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel and act as a preceptor for nursing students and new nurses
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
Registered Nurse in the Philippines with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Nursing
\nBasic Life Training and Intravenous Therapy Training
\nStrong communication skills, both written and oral
\nExcellent moral character, professionalism, and ability to work well within a team
\nAnalytical, problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability
