\nWe are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Manager to oversee the operational processes in various nursing units, including General Nursing, Specialized Nursing, and Surgical Nursing Services. The role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with clinical and support teams.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Ensure staff adherence to quality and safety policies, revising as needed
\nManage safety incidents by implementing corrective\/preventive measures
\nMonitor compliance of Head Nurses\/Charge Nurses in reporting and documenting safety incidents
\nEnsure appropriate staff competency and skill mix in nursing units
\nCollaborate with Assistant Chiefs or Shift Managers on staffing levels, schedules, and assignments
\nParticipate in workforce analysis and manpower requirements
\nEducational Requirements:<\/p>\n
Registered Nurse with at least 9 units in management and administration courses at the graduate level
\nAt least 4 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in Nursing Administration
\nSkills and Training:<\/p>\n
Member in good standing of the accredited professional organization of nurses
\nBasic leadership or management training required
\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
\nTechnical certifications such as Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, IV Therapy, or Preceptor Certificate
\nInter-Relationships:<\/p>\n
Collaborates with Nurse Managers, Operations group, Finance, and Medical Affairs on patient care and operational concerns
\nWorking Conditions:<\/p>\n
Office environment, with duties involving conceptual analysis and complex problem-solving
\nMay be required to work rotating shifts and cover duties of Shift Manager or Training Officer in their absence
