Key Responsibilities
\nDiagnostic Imaging & Patient Care
\nPrepare, position, and educate patients prior to ultrasound examinations to ensure comfort, safety, and procedural understanding.
\nPerform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, kidney-ureter-bladder (KUB), and hepatobiliary tract (HBT) scans, while meeting established turnaround times.
\nObtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient histories and examination records.
\nProvide compassionate, patient-focused care while maintaining professionalism and sensitivity throughout the diagnostic process.
\nClinical Collaboration & Reporting
\nCollaborate closely with Radiologists and OB Sonologists to facilitate accurate interpretation and timely reporting of diagnostic findings.
\nAssist in specialized ultrasound procedures as required.
\nSupport efficient clinic operations by responding to patient inquiries and coordinating examination schedules.
\nEquipment & Systems Management
\nOperate ultrasound equipment effectively and ensure optimal image quality in accordance with established protocols.
\nPerform routine equipment checks and maintain cleanliness and functionality of diagnostic machines.
\nUtilize PACS, Emedcore, and Lifesys systems for documentation, image management, and result processing.
\nApply basic troubleshooting techniques and promptly escalate technical concerns when necessary.
\nQuality, Safety & Compliance
\nAdhere to patient safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
\nMaintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with applicable data privacy regulations.
\nDeliver excellent customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nEducation
\nPreferred: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology with a valid PRC license (RRT\/RXT).
\nCandidates from allied health disciplines who demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to undergo training are encouraged to apply.
\nExperience & Knowledge
\nKnowledge of anatomy, pathology, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging principles.
\nExperience in operating ultrasound equipment is an advantage; however, candidates willing to undergo structured training will also be considered.
\nBasic knowledge of ultrasound equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
\nProficient in computer applications and electronic healthcare systems.
\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patient cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\nExcellent documentation practices and attention to detail.
