VBP Dermatology Institute Inc. is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and service-oriented Derma Nurse to join our growing team at Festival Mall Alabang. As a Derma Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting dermatologists, assisting in medical and aesthetic procedures, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring a safe and positive treatment experience for every client.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nPatient Assessment & Clinical Support
\nConduct initial patient assessments with a focus on skin health and dermatological conditions.
\nReview, monitor, and document patient medical histories, treatment progress, and relevant clinical findings.
\nAssist physicians during skin examinations, consultations, and dermatology procedures.
\nSupport dermatologists in both outpatient and minor surgical dermatology treatments.
\nDermatology & Aesthetic Procedures
\nAssist in cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures using specialized equipment and technologies.
\nPerform standard facials, body contouring treatments, and Glutathione IV\/Drip procedures in accordance with clinic protocols.
\nEnsure all equipment, treatment rooms, medications, supplies, and linens are properly prepared before procedures.
\nMaintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.
\nWound Care & Patient Management
\nAssess, monitor, and provide treatment support for patients with skin wounds, burns, and other dermatological conditions.
\nPerform wound care procedures and apply appropriate dressings, topical medications, and treatment plans.
\nAssist in the management and treatment of acne and other common skin conditions under physician guidance.
\nProvide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing dermatological treatments and procedures.
\nPatient Education & Customer Care
\nEducate patients on skincare routines, disease prevention, treatment compliance, and post-procedure care.
\nProvide guidance on maintaining healthy skin and managing dermatological conditions at home.
\nDeliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
\nAdministrative Support
\nAssist with medication dispensing in accordance with clinic protocols.
\nPerform cashiering duties when the Branch Manager and\/or Pharmacist are unavailable.
\nMaintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nBachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
\nLicensed Nurse is preferred; however, nursing graduates awaiting licensure are encouraged to apply.
\nFresh graduates are welcome to apply.
\nStrong interest in dermatology, aesthetics, and skincare treatments.
\nKnowledge of clinical procedures, dermatology equipment, and patient care practices is an advantage.
\nExcellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
\nPositive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong commitment to patient care.
\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
