We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results while ensuring compliance with quality standards and supporting continuous improvement in laboratory operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nAdministrative
\nAssist the Senior Medical Technologist in preparing monthly performance reports, reagent utilization reports, and other departmental reports.
\nSupport documentation, inventory management, and administrative activities within the assigned laboratory section.
\nContribute to monthly census reports, laboratory charges, and expense monitoring.
\nTechnical
\nPerform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
\nConduct preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment.
\nMonitor reagent inventory and ensure the availability of high-quality laboratory supplies.
\nEnsure the accuracy and reliability of test results through proper quality control procedures.
\nOversee the proper collection, processing, handling, and storage of laboratory specimens.
\nMaintain organized filing and documentation of laboratory records and test results.
\nAssist in the evaluation and validation of new laboratory equipment, methods, and procedures.
\nServe as Officer-in-Charge of the assigned laboratory section during the absence of the Section Head.
\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
\nPerform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
\nQualifications
\nBachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (BS Medical Technology).
\nMust be a Registered\/Licensed Medical Technologist (RMT).
\nMinimum of one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience.
\nStrong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and equipment operation.
\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
