SINGAPORE SPORTS & ORTHOPAEDIC CLINIC PTE. LTD is a specialist clinic located in Gleneagles Medical Centre providing services covering Orthopaedic and Sports health conditions. We have in-house physiotherapists who are working closely with our doctors. We are a specialist orthopaedic clinic with emphasis on knee injuries. Our Doctors believe NOT every patient needs surgical treatments.<\/p>\n

SINGAPORE SPORTS & ORTHOPAEDIC CLINIC PTE. LTD is looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join as a full time employee!<\/p>\n

Job Description:
\n\u2013 Consulting with patients and analysing patient data to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
\n\u2013 Examining patients to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or other musculoskeletal problems and injuries.
\n\u2013 Collaborating with other specialists, when necessary, to determine a course of treatment.
\n\u2013 Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and\/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
\n\u2013 Administering and local anaesthetics, when necessary.
\n\u2013 Performing surgical procedures on various parts of the musculoskeletal system, including plating broken bones, reattaching tendons and ligaments, or performing joint or hip replacements, among other procedures.
\n\u2013 Prescribing medication to improve recovery and control pain after surgical procedures.
\n\u2013 Referring patients to physical therapy, when necessary, or performing non-invasive procedures such as casting and splinting limbs.
\n\u2013 Monitoring ongoing progress and health of patients, and changing treatment plans, as necessary.
\n\u2013 Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
\n\u2013 Conducting research on defects, diseases, and disorders affecting the musculoskeletal system.<\/p>\n

Job Requirements:
\n\u2013 Full registration with SMC
\n\u2013 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience in Orthopaedic\/trauma
\n\u2013 3 years as an orthopaedic consultant
